Paradise

In Paradise, a person will see what no eye has seen, hear what no ear has heard and enjoy what they could have never imagined. This is the real home, the lasting home, the real life. A reward Allah has saved for those who believed in him and did righteous deeds. Allah promises us that,

"No person knows what is kept hidden for them of joy as reward for they used to do."

A person will be granted whatever they wish. They will only desire it and it will be theirs. They will be housed in mansions with their loved ones under which rivers flow.  He/she will have eternally youthful servants serving whatever they wish to eat and drink, they will be surrounded by them. Because of their vast number, their brightly coloured garments, their bright faces, you would think they were all like scattered pearls moving about. In the Qur'an we find this ayah,

And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls.) Meaning, young boys from the boys of Paradise will go around serving the people of Paradise.

They will be dressed in the finest of green silk, they will be adorned with the most precious of jewels. They will be sitting in highness, looking at the kingdom gifted to them.

“These! For them will be ‘Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens); wherein rivers flow underneath them, therein they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and they will wear green garments of fine and thick silk. They will recline therein on raised thrones. How good is the reward, and what an excellent resting place!” [Surah Al-Kahf 18:31]

Rasulallah says,

“*Tooba is a tree in Paradise, as wide as (what would require) a hundred years journey; the clothes of the people of Paradise come from the outer parts of its flowers.*”

No sickness will they feel or hunger or a lack of resources. Rasulallah (s) said that a caller will say in Jannah:

“Indeed may you be healthy and never be sick again, may you live and never die again, may you be young and never grow feeble again, may you enjoy, and never feel sorrow and regret again.” (Saheeh Muslim)

There will be no cold or hot temperatures. They will eat from what they desire to eat. There will be rivers of honey and wine and milk. Allah says,

"...it has rivers the water of which will never be stagnant, rivers of milk whose taste never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of honey pure and clear."

The people of Paradise will be made of a special creation. They will neither need to relieve the call of nature. They will only burp and sweat. Sweat of whose smell will be musk

‘’..They will not urinate, excrete, blow their noses nor, spit. Their combs will be (made) of Gold and they will sweat musk’’ (Muslim)

The Muslim women of this world who made it to Jannah will be made the Queens of Paradise. They will be beautiful, and they will have big beautiful eyes, like eggs guarded, whose gazes will be restrained, saved especially for their husbands. Allah says,

"And beside them there will be bashful, dark big beautiful eyed virgins"
(Qur'an 37:48)

They will be of equal age to their mates in paradise. They will be virgin, untouched, by neither jinn or man. They will be full of love of for their husbands. If you were to see her, you would see her bone marrow, and you could see your reflection in her face. When she smiles, the light that comes from it will be so bright one would think it was lightning. A woman would be so beautiful when her husband first sees her he would stare at her for forty years in awe of her beauty.

A person would recognise his home in Paradise more than one would recognise his home in this life. It would be furnished with beautiful carpets and the walls of ones home would be makde of bricks of gold and silver. A companion asked about the buildings of Paradise and it was said to him,

"Bricks of gold and silver, and mortar of fragrant musk, pebbles of pearl and sapphire, and soil of saffron. Whoever enters it is filled with joy and will never feel miserable; he will live there forever and never die; their clothes will never wear out and their youth will never fade."

The soil in Paradise is from white musk. And beneath ones home would be rivers. One would live better than the kings and queens of this world and granted more even if he is in the lowest levels of Paradise. In fact the person in the lowest level of Paradise would think no one has been blessed with more than him.

On Fridays, a wind blows, scattering a beautiful fragrance upon the inhabitants of Paradise. People would be invited to see Allah and ones seating and nearness would be arranged according to the deeds they did in this life. A person could ask Allah for anything he wishes for. Upon returning home, the family would exclaim at the beauty of the one returning saying they came back looking much more beautiful than they last saw them.

The people of Jannah will not have ill-feeling towards each other. There will be no jealousy, no hatred, no animosity. There will only be love.

"And We shall remove from their breasts any (mutual) hatred or sense of injury (which they had, if at all, in the life of this world…”
(Al-A'raf 7:43)

They will sit facing each other, reclining and enjoying the gift Allah has given them.

And they will say, "Praise to Allah , who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us inherit the earth [so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers."
(Q.39:74)

And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, exalting [Allah] with praise of their Lord. And it will be judged between them in truth, and it will be said, "[All] praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds."
