Home Entertainment

Bismillah The Home Entertainment System After a long days of work, sometimes we want to come home and max out with the tube. To just sit there and enjoy whatever we see. Flip, Flip, Flip. This seems interesting. And you'll watch until you become tired.   This is not the home entertainment system Im talking about. Im talking about one that is live, HD, one thats real. Not the one with electrons shooting on the screen, making an image apear. Im talking about the real thing. Family. The most satisfying and fulfulling entertaiment comes from your family. Yes, your family. Spending just 10 minutes with your family peacefully can fill you with something that nothing else can bring, wholesomeness. Thats if you can keep good relations with them. These days its a challenge for families to stay together, there's the cases we all hear about. (May Allah protect us) But if you can manage to be on good terms with them, then so much can come out of it. If your one of the eldest in th

Marriage

Bismillaah We like the idea of marriage, don't we? Its sounds flowery, pretty, with so much hope from both the man and the woman getting married. Were filled with  hopes, high expectations and what not. Women will imagine a tall, dark handsome lad who will come to their father proposing. And the man will imagine other things. What women want out of Marriage  Typically women, when they get married are looking for someone who will take care of them..... forever. Not someone who will come, enjoy them, and then leave. No. They want financial Security. Emotional Security. Someone who will be with them from the beginning untill...untill they their lives end. They need to know they'll be in safe hands. For us women its no joke. We want the full package. I dont know what the men are thinking, but the woman is looking for someone to love her within a lawful permanent marriage. Not in a temporary one, or one thats for some travel convenience but a permanent one. We want a lawful r

The Virtue of Qiyaamul Layl

Bismillah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem 7 Practical Tips for praying  Qiyaamul Layl What is Qiyaam al-Layl? Qiyaam' means 'standing' and 'Qiyaam al-Layl' means 'standing in night.' In the Islamic terminology, both terms refer to, 'the voluntary night prayer, whose time extends from after Isha prayer until dawn.' Other common names for Qiyaam al-Layl are, Salaat ul-Layl (the night prayer), Tahajjud (from hajada meaning remained awake at night), Witr (odd-numbered this term is also used to refer to the last one or three Raka'ah of Qiyaam) and Taraweeh (resting). A widespread misconception is that Tahajjud is a different night prayer than Qiyaam or Taraweeh. It is important to clarify this misunderstanding and to make clear that there is only one nafl night prayer known by different names. Even though the term Taraweeh is more commonly used to describe the night prayer in Ramadan, it is not different from Tahajjud. Thus, the practice o
