Spiritual Life

Bismillaah

Its amazing how words can affect us and especially when it comes from the heart and from sincerity, the results are astronomical. You can tell when someone speaks from the heart, because the words they speak no matter how small really affect you. They leave a mark on you, they change you. One can say they inspire you, to want to reach the highest of levels.
The spirit one shows in the way they speak plays a role in whether they'll influence people or not. We all love to see enthusiasm from others, its a sign of life in their hearts. Spiritual Life. And we all want that. Either to have life within us, and if not we'll gravitate to the person who has such radiance. And its those things you cannot miss. But what really determines whether others will be effected is the condition of our hearts.
The conditions of ones hearts reflects in a person's face. Im not kidding. You can tell if someone prayed fajr or not just by looking at their face. You can tell if someone prayed Qiyaam just by looking at their face. You see in the forehead, there's a place that gives off light, or nur. You can see it in the people who have memorized Quran. Their entire face glows, especially the forehead. And when you pray Fajr properly, the whole day this light will exist on your face. When I mean properly I mean you prayed it on time, a short while after the athaan, not 10 minutes before its finished. And then you stayed up, not going back to sleep, but staying up atleast until sunrise. But in that time, you had to be reading Qur'an, or reading Du'a, or any from of remembering Allah. Then you will see, and others will see this beautiful natural glow. So much so that the blemishes you normally had are masked. The skin looks even, not patches of discoloration here and there. The face color is uniform, almost as if you were wearing concealer, you know the type of makeup women wear. But your not wearing concealer. You have something better. You have the light that Allah has put upon your face.
But the one who has missed Qiyaam or Fajr, not only will you tell they didn't make it by their attitude, but their face will give it away with close inspection. So if they're giving you a hard time during the day, give them a break. They're only feeling down because they're missing a spiritual connection.
First lets talk about attitude. If anyone wants a great attitude to start his day off, pray Qiyaam. That will be the light for you and others during that day. The one who prays Qiyaam brings joy to others. They love his companionship, they feel content just by sitting and talking to them. They are fun to be around with because of their receptive qualities and showing sincere concern for others.
They are like a perfume that everyone can enjoy, just from its smell.
When you miss Qiyaam, you'll still happy, but you don't necessarily bring happiness to others. Its hard to be enthusiastic over someone else's joys. Your not open to showing much hospitality unless needed. Basically you wont go out of your way to bring pleasure to others. You lack patience to sit and talk with someone, you turn the focus from others to yourself, and your just doing you. So your happy, but it doesnt really show on your face. You' will definitely not be engaging with others as you did before. And you'll wish to show more kindness and consideration but it will not come easy to you.
Fajr. When you miss fajr. My God. Get ready. You wont be happy and you will not bring happiness to others. You'll just want that day to finish. There's no barakah in that day. The simplest of tasks that would even benefit you will be like climbing mount Everest. "Bring me a cup of this.." And your crying on the inside, "Why me..?" Your dragging yourself through the day. Forget bringing happiness to others, you will find friction between you and the others. Struggling to maintain a healthy relationship with those closest to you. And difficulty will find you. Yup. Unless your of those who sincerely regret this spiritual fall and make Tawbah.
The face of someone who missed Fajr. They'll look down. Upset, distant.  Look at their forehead there isn't any glowing nuur. The face looks deprived. The face will lack emotion, it will have a blank expression, and at other times it'll say, "Dont get in my way, I dont have time for you."  Basically the face will repel you. It'll tell you "I dont have anything for you." Cause when we look into someones face we look for something, maybe its pity, some sympathy, maybe its acceptance, or acknowledgement, you  know, "Tell me Im alive and you see me and that you appreciate me.." We look for our emotional needs to be fulfilled when we look into someones face, we search their eyes for something. Maybe its love. Or we look to see signs of pleasure in their face. Your thinking as you look at them, "Yes, tell me your happy with me, and that I bring you happiness..Tell me your pleased with me.."
The face is a source of mercy and pleasure. Its a gift to have some turn directly towards and acknowledge us. Its a gift. And when we are angry we do not give this gift to anyone. How can you show mercy to someone when your angry with them? So what do you? You turn your face away from them. Something simply done, but a blow on the persons emotional well being. Especially if they depend on you to show them love. When we turn our faces from them, were basically saying, "I am not going to give my pleasure, and I will not allow you take pleasure from looking at my face". Ouch. And it hurts when we are denied such an emotional need. So how can the person who is void of spiritually for the day for missing fajr, possibly give any spiritual uplifting to the one who seeks it by looking at his face. They actually don't have anything to give you, cuz they're depleted themselves. So dont become upset with them if they dont welcome you the way they normally do. Maybe tommorrow will be different for them Insha Allah.
But the one who has prayed Qiyaam and Fajr? Allaahu Akbar! What a wonderful person they are! You cannot get enough of their presence, their aura is just radiating nothing but goodness, spiritual satisfaction for all who come near this person. They welcome you when you come in, making you feel so special. They'll show concern for you when no one cares, they'll look you in the eyes and not divert their attention from you until your satisfied. Masha Allah, what a wonderful person. They're face is open, ready, welcoming for you. Full of nuur a beautiful light that makes them wonderful to look at. They'll fulfill the emotional needs you have come for. It'll be their company you want. They give you satisfaction. That's what they do.
So you can see our level of spirituality and the condition of our hearts can never be hidden. It is shown to us by signs. So that we might reflect and make an effort to change ourselves for the better. And all things we do, their success and their failures all stem from our hearts. If they are in good condition, we can say one word, and it can drastically change the world for the better. We can influence others for the better if we wish to, and we will if our hearts are sound.

*My Allah purify our hearts and put in our faces and hearts light*
Ameen!
