Ways to Increase Your Wealth

Bismillaah

Seeking Forgiveness and Repentence
I said to them: ‘Ask Forgiveness from your Lord: Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; He will (then) send rain to you in abundance, and give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens, and bestow on you rivers”
(Surah Nuh, 10-12)

Thanking Allah

A means through which people are guaranteed an increase in the blessing bestowed upon them by Allah is the continual thanking of Allah for the present blessing that they have.

“And (remember) when you Lord proclaimed: ‘If you are thankful, I will give you more (of My blessings), but if you are thankless (i.e., disbeliever), then verily, My punishment is indeed severe.’” (Surah Ibrahim, 7)

The Taqwa of Allah
“… And whosover fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (of every diffuculty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice Him… (Surah Al-Talaq)Meaning of Taqwa:

Guarding one’s self from sins, and this is achieved by leaving all blameworthy acts. (Imam Raghib al-Isfahani). Implement the (Divine) commands and (refrain from the) prohibitions. And its essence is to protect yourself from His punishment and anger, all Glory be to Him. (Imam al-Nawawi)

Establishing the ties of Kinship

A proven method to increase one’s rizq is to establish the ties of kinship. This means showing relatives kindness, compassion, mercy and necessitates keeping in touch with them, paying them visits, and inquiring about their health and welfare. Also, one should help them out in whatever way possible, to the best one’s means.
Abu Hurayrah reported that the Prophet (salla Allahu aliahi wa sallam) said:
“Whoever has taqwa of his Lord, and establishes the ties of kinship, will have his life extended, and his money increased, and his family will love him.” (al-Bukhari)
Kinship being referred to include all of a person’s close relatives from both the mother’s and father’s side including uncles, aunts, their children, the uncles and aunts of one’s parents and their children, etc. The rights of the parents are followed by the rights of the brothers and sisters, spouses and children, and uncles and aunts.

Putting One’s Trust in Allah

The Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said:

“If you were to put your trust in Allah the way that Allah deserves, then you would be provided fro as the birds are; they leave (in search of food) at the beginning of the day famished, and they return at the end of the day full”.
