The Idealist Temperament (NF)

From my experience, you can spot out an idealist from the words that they use. They're quite deep and when they speak or write you may see and hear the words, "Love, peace, harmony, vision, spirituality.." And the like. There very deep. They'll get to the deeper meaning of things. The way poets do it. Or the way philosophers do it. They want to know what the meaning of life is and wont settle for the ordinary things. They want the extra ordinary spiritual experiences. They're all about the spirit and heart. They want to be connected spiritually and have a natural inclination towards the spiritual more than any personality out there has. Its a natural affinity for them.

 I love Idealists. Everything from their optimistic views of life to their willingness to show and express love. Its all natural to them. I mean that is what their built on, "Love, Admiration, Recognition and Appreciation." Idealist are different and want their uniquness to be appreciated. Even their insight on life is different. Recognize them for this.

I would say there are the most romantic of types and are capable of showing intense love. But it can easily die if not reciprocated. Kinda like how a candle can easily be blown out by wind. They're intense lovers, willing to go beyond expectation for the pleasure of their beloved.

Although they can be very loving, they are highly sensitive to critism and conflict. Both are a "no-no" This can affect them to the extent of physical sickness. So be careful in addressing an issue with them and tread lightly.

Shower them with praise. And I mean it. TELL THEM YOU LOVE THEM. They live off this type of thing. Do not assume they know that you love them. If saying it is too difficult, show them you love them. Give them a love letter (and try to be as romantic as possible, be wild if you have to, but just be elegant) Give them a small gift, or take them out, just do something that will rekindle the love betweeen you. Frequently.

Dont expect them to just start showing you physical love whenever you want to. No way. You need to warm them up, or they will be resistant to you, even if you've been married for some time. Warm them up with communication. If your looking for a romantic evening, start by talking about what they love to talk about, and that is themselves. You can compliment and praise them, or just talk about how much you love them and appreciate them. Just do what you gotta do. Sweet talk them to death if you have to. Until you notice they're softening up and becoming willing. From there things will go easy. But dont think you can just jump on them the way animal do. Send a messenger first, and we all know the hadith.

Idealists are the type that like to take stroll in the evening on a night with full moon, they love to contemplate and reflect and just feel. They wanna feel. They love beauty and appreciate beauty. I guess their just beautiful people, really beautiful people.
